  • What is XOSP and how was it born?
    • XOSP basically which stands for the Xperia Open Source Project was a project originally created by me (@nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) and the project was created like 2 years ago when that time XOSP wasn't even existing. It was just S+ Reborn. The main idea was to create a custom minimal Xperia based ROM, by including the essential things which a user would normally use from a ROM.
The S+ Reborn became to be a big success because it was eventually ported on different Xperia Phones and some other Samsung devices so from there the XOSP project was founded. From the XOSP Project also the Reborn add-ons were created featuring with an Aroma Installer. I worked on the project for 2 years trying always to improve it constantly, eventually for the fact that LP on my Galaxy S+ became to be quite buggy i decided to stop the development and for about half of year the project was left in standby till I decided to bring it back again on the Zenfone 2 devices.
The project started growing again so with the Release 4 the project will be completely refactored to XOSP
  • Revisions and Releases
    • I've got a different type of releasing, I will not provide weekly builds but just let me show you how the revisions and release type works: The revisions refers like to a sort of Nightly thing I mean the changes included in the ROM are small not as a Release one. All the releases got 5 revisions. So the Release is something even bigger right? Hell yeah! When a new Release is released expect many improvements or new features :)

If you get an error message when flashing GApps you're probably running out of space in your /system partition. It is recommended to have 1GB to fit the ROM and the GApps ( The stock partition table has 512mb for /system). This thread has a good guide for repartitioning and this one has a great tool for repartitioning without Odin.
It comes with Cyanogen Recovery by default, if you don't like it you can flash alternative recoveries using IsoRec.

First time installing XOSP based to your phone, or coming from another ROM?
  • Make sure you're running the latest TWRP from Here
  • Download latest build,XOSPApps and GApps
  • Reboot recovery
  • Wipe data factory reset
  • Flash latest XOSP
  • Flash GApps
  • Flash XOSPApps
  • Reboot

Upgrading from earlier release or revision of XOSP:
  • Reboot recovery
  • Flash latest XOSP
  • Flash GApps if necessary
  • Flash XOSPApps
  • Wipe cache and dalvik
  • Reboot

I'll not support users and answer questions from users which:

- Are running a custom kernel
- Have flashed mods
- Modified system files
- Didn't follow my instructions
- Are unfriendly

The Background:
JB is far gone as of now, but I still love what Samsung delivered with JB 4.1.2 on my beloved SII.
Also @pedestre has stopped any more builds to the APOLO kernel.
I'm a maintainer for Dorimanx JB Builds but I also love APOLO kernel for its sability.
But now its missing some key features like TRIM,ISOREC and may be newer toolchains.
So these are my unofficial builds for the JB Based ROMs.
DISCLAIMER:
ONLY FOR JB 4.1.2 Based Roms
No feature requests like add this governor or scheduler or other exotics. My idea is to keep this stable and add key missing things
I'm not responsible for bricked devices or wrong version flashing
You are using this kernel at your own responsibility

——— !!!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!! ———

FEATURES:
This kernel include the following additional features:

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:

#include

 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

 */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Support Devices
  • SGH-I777 (i777)
  • GT-I9100 (i9100)
  • GT-I9100P (i9100p)
  • SHW-M250K (m250k)
  • SHW-M250S (m250s)
  • SC-02C (sc02c)

Downloads
i777: Update soon.
i9100: Download
i9100p: Update Soon.
m250k: Update Soon.
m250s: Update Soon.
sc02c: Update Soon.

Basic first time installation instructions:
  • Download Korean JB Pit.pit to your computer
  • Download cm-12.1-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-XXXX.zip to your sdcard
  • Reboot into download mode
  • Start odin 3
  • Flash Korean JB Pit.pit
  • Reboot into download mode
  • Flash zImage
  • Reboot into recovery
  • Wipe all your data
  • Flash ROM from sdcard
  • Flash Google Apps from sdcard (optional)
  • Reboot and enjoy!

Important: What is Korean JB Pit?

Korean JB Pit is stock jellybean pit for Korean Galaxy S II Devices.
Samsung had repartition to get more space in /system partition.
So, /system partition size is 1GB, It's not need to resize partition to your devices.
I working hard to support all Galaxy S II Devices, It's work perfectly! :D

Don't Flash official cyanogenmod & Other normal i9100 ROMs & Recoveries. It'll be brick your phone!

If you want to turn back to your official stock jellybean in your device (ex. i777, i9100 i9100p, sc02c), You must download stock pit. This pit is Korean stock Jelly Bean Pit. You can't use Your device's own stock official jellybean in this pit.

Download Original Pit to use your own devices Samsung Official Firmware Again

I9100 CyanogenMod 12.1
Since cm12.1 was no longer support by cm official and @Markox89 began to build cm13 instead cm12.1.i decide to build cm12.1 by myself. It is based on newest cm12.1 code, because i repo source code before i built it.It is official code and i didn't change anything.By the way,i am even not a developer,i just repo source code then build it.i am chinese,my english is poor. So, i won't give change log and other thing which other post give. The main feature is same with CM12.1.NOTHING WAS CHANGED.you can post bug and maybe i can solve it,but the probability is very low,i think?
PS:i have tested all the rom,it should be ok.it is 2016.0620 when i bulid it,used ubuntu16.04.
IMPORANT:i have changed my data and system partition to 4G and 1G,then run ./extract-files.sh to get proprietary files(aka “blobs”) which official guide refer to,i don't know its influence,if you know what you are doing, you can flash it.
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.:)

here is the link:http://pan.baidu.com/s/1eREOHQ6,md5 check:http://pan.baidu.com/s/1hsjSKhY,there is a cm11 build too,link is http://pan.baidu.com/s/1kVPKdLX,md5 check:http://pan.baidu.com/s/1bpE5fcF.folder link:http://pan.baidu.com/s/1skSF12P.
Other thing you want please research on thread.
if you have any advices, please say it out.

PS:It is 2016.0624 when i bulid it,used ubuntu16.04.,i also have 2015.11.11.Download step is 下载(means download)-普通下载(means download without client, you can also choose 高速下载,download with Baidu account&Baiduyun client),if you use mobile, there is only one choice, use 高速下载,which means you must have baiduyun mobile client and baidu account first,so please download on pc.The reason why i don't use foreign netdisk is it need VPN which have low speed. But if many people need it,i will try to upload it use androidfilehost or other place

Something else:i also want to build it with Linaro&sabermod, but i don't know how to do it,if someone can tell me,it should be a big favour to me.

Unofficial DorimanX builds by GreekDragon
(The resurrection of jellybean kernels)

Dorimanx JB unofficial kernel by GreekDragon

The Background:
DorimanX development has stopped for a while now. I've been a long term dorimanx user, but I felt that a lot of features need to be implemented into the kernel. As of a result, I decided to make my own personal builds! Please note that I'm no way as good as the master himself, Dorimanx, but I try to implement features to the best of my abilities. Also, I'm not going to be a proper maintainer of dorimanx kernel, this is just what I've done in my spare time.

This is a fork from Dorimanx's git.

If you have problems or if anything goes wrong, you can flash latest build by Computoncio
You can download from his official website:
http://dorimanx.casoncia.org/

The Mission:
To continue giving support for the much loved kernel. New features and additions will be added to improve flexibility and speed to the already amazing kernel. My goal is to improve DorimanX kernel as much as I can, without sacrificing stability.

4.1.X JELLYBEAN ONLY!

DISCLAIMER:
I'm not responsible for bricked devices or wrong version flashing
You are using this kernel at your own responsibility

——— !!!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!! ———

FEATURES:
This kernel includes the following additional features over stock dorimanX kernel:
- CPU Governors: HYPER, Ondemand, pegasusQ, Intellidemand, neoX, darkness, nightmare, sleepy, conservative (Default: HYPER)
- TCP Algorithms: Cubic, Reno, BIC, Westwood, Highspeed, Hybla, HTCP, Vegas, Veno, Scalable, Lp, Yeah, Illinois (Default: Westwood)
- FPBug/Musicbug fix is already included in this kernel!
- BLN and BLNWW support
- Updated Linux Kernel version to 3.15.0 stable!
- IO Schedulers: ROW, FIOPS, SIO, BFQ, CFQ, Noop, ZEN, Deadline (Default: SIO)
- Trim support

THINGS I WILL NOT ADD:
Code:

- LZ4 Compression (Our Boot partition is way too small to support this)
- Useless CPU governors such as Userspace
- Colour tuning support (Unless someone helps me with this)
- Recovery version (WIll only consider doing this if working on LP kernel)
- Higher thermal limits (We all know what happens if we do this)
- Higher overclocking/Lower underclocking capabilities (So you want less stability and more SODs?)
- Synapse support (Stweaks is the only app that can fully support this kernel)

[I9100][UNOFFICIAL]Kali-NetHunter

$

A project by Offensive Security

The Kali NetHunter is an Android penetration testing platform targeted towards Nexus and OnePlus devices built on top of Kali Linux, which includes some special and unique features. Of course, you have all the usual Kali tools in NetHunter as well as the ability to get a full VNC session from your phone to a graphical Kali chroot, however the strength of NetHunter does not end there. We've incorporated some amazing features into the NetHunter OS which are both powerful and unique. From pre-programmed HID Keyboard (Teensy) attacks, to BadUSB Man In The Middle attacks, to one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, access to the Offensive Security Exploit Database... And yes, NetHunter natively supports wireless 802.11 frame injection with a variety of supported USB NICs.

Documentation and Attack Descriptions

Attack descriptions as well as some documentation to get you started with the installation and setup of Kali NetHunter can be found at https://github.com/offensive-securit...nethunter/wiki.

Is Kali NetHunter an Android ROM?

Kali Linux NetHunter is not a ROM but is meant to be installed over an existing stock/factory image of Android. It can also be installed over some Cyanogenmod based ROMs depending on device support. It is heavily based on using custom kernels and only supports a select number of devices. We're relying on you, the community, to port your devices for the full Kali NetHunter experience.

Note: I uploaded 2 files, one contains minimal chroot and the other contains full chroot.

Note2:These zips are universal and can be flashed on every single device with TWRP Recovery installed.

Note3: It can be flashed even on Lollipop,Marshmallow roms.

Install instructions:
You must be on Kitkat and above.
Make sure you have TWRP Recovery Installed.
Download your prefered build, i use minimal chroot.
Take a backup in case if you regret it.
Flash it.
Enjoy! :)

Tested Devices:
S2 I9100
S2 I9105 (Thanks @anastasiszn )
it will work on every device with TWRP recovery.

[MOD][ZIP FLASHABLE] Remove CM13 bloatware, fix emoji fonts, custom apps and settings

$
0
0

This is a zip flashable for Android 6 Marshmallow for our device and not only for ours.

It's my first development thing so, if you call me a noob, I will accept that.

Things will be modified:
- Trebuchet will be replaced with NexusLauncher(Unreleased) from here
- CMFileManager will be replaced with MiXplorer from here plus Archive Add-on
- Browser will be replaced with GelloMod from here
- Android Keyboard will be replaced with Google Keyboard (not yet)

Apps will be installed (beside from up):
- AdAway (you need to activate root from Developer options to apply the host file)

Things will be modified:
fonts.xml from /system/etc
fallback_fonts.xml from /system/etc
NotoColorEmoji.ttf from /system/fonts - fonts from Android N (7.0)

- fonts.xml and fallback_fonts.xml are modified to fix Emoji's appearing on Google Keyboard (and not only).

Removing some CM13 bloat (I consider them useless):
- PhotoPhase
- Black Hole
- HTML Viewer
- Holo Spiral
- Phase Beam
- Basic Daydreams
- CM Wallpapers
- Pico TTS
- Photo Screensavers
- Bubbles
- Live Wallpaper Picker
- Android Live Wallpapers
- Email (good replacement can be GMail or Mail.Ru(I use it personally))
- Exchange Services
- Wallpaper Picker

Download:

I never used this apps and I consider them bloatware for our phone. I will never put you to flash this zip into recovery if you don't want! Your responsability!!

Thank you. If you want to suggest me to add another stuff's or to modify something, let me know. I want to learn more things and only if you give me work I will.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
  • Root is now disabled by default on CyanogenMod 13. To enable it go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
  • If you get an error message when flashing GApps you're probably running out of space in your /system partition. It is recommended to have 1GB to fit the ROM and the GApps ( The stock partition table has 512mb for /system). This thread has a good guide for repartitioning and this one has a great tool for repartitioning without Odin.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Instructions to install ROM:

1. Flash the last CM13 from here: LINK
2. Flash GAPPS from OpenGAPPS (Pico version preffered)
3. Flash SuperSU from here: LINK

Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as Android Ice Cold Project that started on HTC Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until lollipop, ROM has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CyanogenMod when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

How to flash:

  • Make sure you have TWRP recovery on your device.
  • Make a backup of your current ROM.
  • Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
  • Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
  • Reboot system and setup!

PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!
