Mechanical Android for the Samsung galaxy s2 (i9100 variants)

This is my personal ROM based on Paranoid Android. It's still in early stages so features that i plan to include and optimizations are not fully implemented. With that being said, It is more then stable enough for a daily driver. You can think of it as an optimized AOSPA for now.
Differences between official Paranoid android are:
-different name (duh)
-Built with UBER toolchain
-My own custom kernel
-V4A built in
-other smaller optimizations to improve performance such as disabled various debuggers
-Removed Bloat wallpapers and stuff
-Removed ParanoidOTA
-Disabled high volume warning
-added nova launcher
-apollo music player

I plan to add MUCH more over the following weeks

CodeROM 5.1.1

CodeROM is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CodeROM does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This is Candy5. Built straight from SlimRom source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS.
We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses.
We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats.
Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to statusbar mods

Unofficial DorimanX builds by gsstudios

The Background:
DorimanX development has stopped for a while now. I've been a long term dorimanx user, but I felt that a lot of features need to be implemented into the kernel. As of a result, I decided to make my own personal builds! Please note that I'm no way as good as the master himself, Dorimanx, but I try to implement features to the best of my abilities. Also, I'm not going to be a proper maintainer of dorimanx kernel, this is just what I've done in my spare time.

If you have problems or if anything goes wrong, you need to reflash your current ROM to revert kernel.

The Mission:
To continue giving support for the much loved kernel. New features and additions will be added to improve flexibility and speed to the already amazing kernel. My goal is to improve DorimanX kernel as much as I can, without sacrificing stability.

- Useless CPU governors such as Userspace 

- Colour tuning support (Unless someone helps me with this)

- Recovery version (WIll only consider doing this if working on LP kernel)

- Higher thermal limits (We all know what happens if we do this)

- Higher overclocking/Lower underclocking capabilities (So you want less stability and more SODs?)

- Synapse support (Stweaks is the only app that can fully support this kernel)

- Linux Kernel version updates (My skills need to improve first before taking on something this big)

- Only works with cm12.1 based roms and not other roms (Doesn't work with Slimsaber, SlimLP, Omni, Paranoid Android yet)

- Mdnie sharpness tweak gives bootloop

- Random SODs 

- IPV6 causes bootloop

- All dorimanx bugs

Installation instructions

Coming from 5.0 or less
--> Format system, data, cache & dalvik cache
--> Install ROM
--> Install Gapps if required
--> Reboot

Coming from previous build
-->Wipe cache
-->Install ROM
-->Reflash Gapps
-->Reboot

Using OTA as update
-->Check for any available updates
-->If you get one, download the update
-->Press 'Flash it'
-->Wipe cache from the prompt
-->Now Grant #SU permissions to OTAUpdater if you haven't earlier
-->OTAUpdater will automatically wipe cache, flash the ROM & then reboot
-->Enjoy the new Update

IMPORTANT NOTE
You must flash the added #SU.zip. And then from settings, go to superuser and select, install 'OTA Survival'.

In order for the OTAUpdater App. to automatically reboot to TWRP, wipe the selected preference say cache, apply the OTA update and then reboot back to system, you must give OTAUpdater permanent root privileges when you use the 'Flash it' option for the first time.

Please report all the Bugs in the Bugs Section. In this way I can keep track of all the bugs and fix them appropriately.

You must flash the Gapps that I provided. Other Gapps don't have the proper DPI and will cause all kinds of graphical glitches and FCs.

FP Bug fix and TRIM on older kernels

The Background:
Kernel development for older android versions have stopped for a while now. With the release of the FP Bug fix and TRIM enabled kernel, I decided to make my own personal builds! Please note that in no way I am going to maintain these kernels. I have enough kernels to maintain anyway!

If you have problems or if anything goes wrong, you need to reflash your current ROM to revert kernel.

The Mission:
To continue giving support for the much loved kernel. New features and additions will be added to improve flexibility and speed to the already amazing kernel. My goal is to improve DorimanX kernel as much as I can, without sacrificing stability.

NO JELLYBEAN, KITKAT AND LOLLIPOP SUPPORT HERE!

*Welcome to Tipsy*

This ROM was created by none other than the great Martin Coulon (@martinusbe). This was created as a side project during his 'free' time while waiting for GZR's Validus & Tesla builds to update. Now if you are wondering why it is called Tipsy, you guessed it. He was actually somewhat drunk when he made it, and even now, most updates/fixes are done while happily intoxicated, thus keeping the Tipsy motto. It was initially done for the OnePlus One as a joke, however, the love for this ROM was so huge, it found it's way out. We just couldn't keep it to ourselves. Within a few days, it had spread like wildfire to a plethora of different devices.

Tipsy has a slim base, and only the useful and necessary stuff was added, including a few extra features to keep up with the competition out there. Tipsy fully supports Layers (RRO) and has the Layers manager app built-in. CM is kept to the barest minimum here, and is only added/used ONLY as needed.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but if you feel like getting the info as it comes out along with some nice graphics, check it out here:

CyanogenMod 11 [UNOFFICIAL] for i9100 with Stagefright Fix

For all those who aren't yet ready to upgrade to Lollipop but would like to close this vulnerability on their device, I have built the latest CM11 source as of 9/1/15 (since CM11 nightlies for this device are no longer released for download). This build is unofficial but I have not modified it in any way**. It includes all StageFright fixes that the CM development team has implemented.

All required downloads are located here.

Works well as a daily driver with Lanchon's i777 Crossflash Kernel on my device (i777/S959G) but is untested on an i9100 (please report your success/failure).

Installation instructions can be found on CM's website or on Lanchon's kernel thread (above).

I recommend wiping cache/system/data prior to flashing (dirty flash with only a cache wipe did not work on my device when upgrading from the last public nightly).

Good luck!

** I did manually modify the updater-script to allow this ROM to be flashed on any device (because i9100 ROMs refuse to flash on the i777/S959G). Flashing this ROM on anything other than an i9100/i777/S959G WILL brick your device.

It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of RRO Themes

What is AOSP?

AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.

Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

What is RRO?

RRO (Runtime Resource Overlay) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,RRO is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

Tired of unresponsive and lack of screen sensitivity?

Hello guys, if you guys don't know me already, I'm gsstudios and I'm currently working on providing kernels for our device.

Now it has come to a point where some people want more screen sensitivity, because all of the tuning that is currently available in kernels are not adequate enough for some users. It has been believed that the stock values found on kernels are buggy since stock ICS, and most kernels today still have these stock values.

Now, I present you the very first build (in current XDA) of DorimanX kernel with tuned screen values (0 for touch move sensitivity) by default.

Note to kernel developers/potential kernel builders:
The fix isn't really important to most users on XDA, but if there is a time where it is required to increase sensitivity, follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43461109. but make sure that ALL of the /* MOVHYSTI */ values are changed to a lower value (some people like 0). A similar effect can be done by tweaking other values, but doesn't achieve the same results as people would wish for. The original fix from vitalji is for older kernels (still applies, but was in a different location) still based on older samsung source code, newer kernels will have to use the guide provided above to adjust values.
